Take part in an official flag raising.
So, this is one of the ones I had from yesterday... So no real inspiration...
Why would I want to do this?
Well, to learn how to properly raise a flag is pretty interesting to me. It isn't just a simple thing, there's a bunch of steps to it. So I'd just like the knowledge of doing this.. :)
On a very side note...
50! I've made it to 50!!! Oh my word. In all honesty I didn't know if I would be able to make it to 50, especially some days. Some of you told me I wouldn't have a problem doing this every day but I would like to confess there have been some days where I didn't actually write an entry. I've cheated and written two on a day... Hehe! Some days I just have absolutely no inspiration. Being the happy bubbly me that most know just hasn't been me lately. I've been going through a bunch of stuff and some major transitions. I'm so looking forward to the next step. :)

Build a Rocking Chair.
I actually went through quite a few things before I finally settled on this one. I love how some days I'm searching for an option and others there are multiple ones. Ok, so inspiration for this one? There's this adorable little girl here at the event - her name is Noah Joy, and she represents almost everything that I want in a daughter. Therefore, I've been thinking about how I want to raise my children and what I want to do with them. I love rocking chairs. As a child I loved being held in them - I can only hope that my children have that same love.
Why would I want to do this?
Well, I know most of the time something like a rocking chair is built by a male... But if I'm going to be using it I should make it - you know, super personal. Haha! If I don't get to make it, at least I'll get to use it. :)

Build a fire.
Nope - never once have I build a fire in my life - not that I remember that is. Haha! Which, I'd like to think that my memory is still decent and I'm not yet forgetting things. I was sitting at Registration all day (surprise surprise) and across from me is a poster with a match on it, thus, a fire.
Why would I want to do this?
I do believe that it would be a nice skill to have. Most boy scouts know it, so why do I, a Girl Scout not know?! I think it's about time I learned too. Hehe

Get completely utterly lost.
Earlier I went to Target here in Cali and on the way back I missed a turn. No big - the signage here sucks. I got thinking though, how fun to be totally lost! Such an adventure!
Why would I want to do this?
Well, it's kind of hard for me to get lost entirely - it's called a sense of direction! However trying would be fun. Once becoming lost, well then the adventure would start!!

Meet a President.
Big thanks to JD for this one!! We were playing Rock Band and I realized that I hadn't come up with a blog for today yet, verbalized it, and JD came up with this. Haha!!
Why would I want to do this?
Well, who wouldn't want to meet a President of the United States? Haha!!! Personally I think it would be really awesome to meet George W Bush because even though a lot of people talked down about him I really think he did the best he could. :)

Attend an Olympic Opening Ceremony.
So, as most of you know today is the first day of the Olympics - which means, it's the opening ceremony! Currently watching the March of Nations which brings up memories of watching it throughout the years with my brothers and mom. Every Olympics growing up my mom would sit us on the couch and have us watch them. I do believe it (somehow) counted as school work - it is history in the making! Haha!
Why would I want to do this?
Well, the opening ceremonies are HUGE! Absolutely incredible things occur during them and to be able to walk away saying I've attended the opening ceremonies... :)

Play tennis.
Hehe. On the drive home from work today I was thinking about what I wanted to do tonight instead of being alone... Yeah... Anyway. Playing tennis is something I've wanted to do for awhile. I'm super competitive so it only makes sense. Haha!
Why would I want to do this?
Well, the outfits are super cute. Haha!! Although, my hand eye coordination sucks so it would be very entertaining!! :)

Go to the oldest cathedral in existence.
Although I may have already done this - I doubt it. I'm pretty sure whoever I was with would have made a bigger deal out of what we were seeing. What inspired this? I was looking a friends' pictures in a foreign country (Italy) on FB and I saw a picture of a cathedral and suddenly it hit me - I'd love to explore the oldest cathedral!
Why would I want to do this?
I don't really actually know - just to be able to say that I've been inside the oldest cathedral is incredible. I mean, the architecture of the cathedral would be absolutely incredible! I've been in quite a few - including the first cathedral to use the "gothic" style (At least in France) and they have all blown me away. So, whenever I find out which cathedral is really the oldest in the world - I am totally going to make a point to make it there one of these days!

Speak fluent French.
Wow. Today I had absolutely no inspiration so coming up with this took awhile. Anyway. It was at the point I was searching the apps on my iPhone in order to come up with something. Yep. That's pretty sad!
Why would I want to do this?
It'd be nice to be able to correspond with my family in France without using an English-French dictionary every two words. Plus I love the language - which I believe is half the battle when learning a language.

Go white water rafting.
Sitting here trying to come up with these is becoming more and more difficult. Meaning, they don't just come up right away, I actually have to think for a minute. Haha! Today's wish came to me while thinking about the Grand Canyon.
(My thought process) I've been there, to both rims... Hike it? Heh nah... Oh wait! The Colorado River flows through the Canyon and it's absolutely gorgeous in color and it's one that is a white water rafting expedition thing. (end of thought process) *chuckles at self* Now, I'm not saying I have to do the Canyon River that's just the one that came up in my thought process and memories...
Why would I want to do this?
I don't remember the exact story but when I was 8 my entire family (?) went on a trip to go white water rafting with the church we were attending at the time. I thought it would be interesting, but definitely figured I was too weak to do it, plus I believe I was told that I was too small. Since then I've wanted to make a trip. It just sounds like an adventure, but with oh so much fun!
On a very side note, I have noticed that the majority of the times when I write a post on my iPhone it's about 10 times shorter than if I type it on my laptop. Mostly because when I use my iPhone I'm distracted. Haha!
